§ 9-34. Duty of owner to remove.

It shall be the duty and responsibility of the owner of an abandoned, junked or derelict motor vehicle to cause the removal thereof immediately and to pay all costs incident to the removal. It shall be unlawful for any person to allow an abandoned, junked or derelict motor vehicle owned by him to remain on a public street, highway and private property after notice has been duly given pursuant to section 9-35 to the person to have the vehicle removed.
